Our MCL Medics Offshore Medics Course (Initial and Refresher) has been successfully endorsed by the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
This endorsement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, who have worked tirelessly to position us as one of the top offshore training facilities available today.
During the endorsement process, we received numerous positive comments highlighting:
- The exceptional strength of our faculty, who possess the appropriate medical knowledge, experience, and educational training
- The professional format and content of our presentations
- The benefit of maintaining a small number of learners on each course
- Our focus on formulating a clear SBAR/handover to maximise the effectiveness of reach-back to the Topside team, ensuring patient safety
These further validate the quality of our courses, something that we often get feedback on from the attending medics.
With this endorsement, we are now authorised to use the FPHC logo on our certificates and will soon provide an official FPHC Rcsed certificate. We’ll update you on the official title as soon as it’s confirmed.
This is a significant achievement for our training unit, and we are confident it will attract more nursing and paramedic professionals to our courses
The training is supported by clinicians with a proven track record of working within the remote medical industry. All are currently practicing clinicians within the primary care, secondary care and/or the offshore sectors.
